The intermediate to advanced students will experience a first class with our head teachers. A DJ/Musicality class adds an interesting dimension to the day, allowing participants to deepen their understanding of Tango music and how it influences their dance. Saturday, 14.12.2024 sounds like a Tango enthusiast’s dream! We start with the Tango Femme class led by Maestra Agostina, promises to be both empowering and enlightening for all the ladies. Learning the techniques and secrets from a renowned expert adds a special touch to the experience, allowing participants to deepen their understanding and mastery of Tango. Two sessions of changing roles Tango are closing the intense physical teaching part today.
After lunch break , the spiritual journey starts with a mandala-making session using flowers in the garden. It is a beautiful way to conclude the day on a creative and meditative note. The act of arranging flowers into intricate patterns not only fosters a sense of mindfulness but also but also creates the perfect ambience for the cacao ceremony for sunset.
Dinner awaits, providing an opportunity for everyone to come together once again and share stories, laughter, and delicious cuisine. The camaraderie fostered over meals enhances the sense of community and connection among participants. The activities of this day closes with a last Milonga at the beautiful Wantilan (air-condition) at Mimpi Resort.
Sunday, 15.12.2024 Beginning the day with Tango workshops and the Tango Femme class allows participants to continue honing their skills and deepening their connection to the dance.
The final practica offers all participants a last opportunity to consolidate learning and ensure that students feel confident in their abilities before moving into the spiritual aspect of the day.
Transitioning into a spiritual journey with a cleansing ceremony at the Hot spring Temple is a beautiful way to prepare oneself for deeper experiences. The symbolism and ritual of cleansing can help clear the mind and spirit, allowing for a more profound connection during meditation.
As the evening arrives, participants, all dressed up in Balinese traditional costume will be transferred to the nearby temple to witness the Full moon Temple festivities.
During the Purnama Full Moon Temple Ceremony, people gather at temples across the island to pay homage to the gods and offer prayers and offerings. The ceremonies typically involve traditional Balinese music and dance performances, as well as intricate rituals conducted by Hindu priests.
The atmosphere during these ceremonies is usually vibrant and spiritual, with devotees dressed in traditional attire and carrying offerings such as flowers, fruits, and incense. The sound of gamelan music fills the air, adding to the mystical ambiance of the event.

After awakening from beautiful dreams, participants come together for a final breakfast, savoring the last moments of togetherness before checking out of the hotel. Together we embarks on tour journeys back to South Bali. Upon arrival in Seminyak, participants disperse to their respective hotel arrangements, each carrying with them the lessons learned and connections made throughout the retreat.
In the evening, the final QUEENs and KINGs Milonga at Warung Made Seminyak serves as a grand finale, bringing together all participants together with the local community, to dance and celebrate the power of Tango one last time. Men and women alike join in the festivities, showcasing their newfound skills and revelling in the joy of dance.
As the night comes to a close, there’s a sense of fulfilment and camaraderie among the crowd, united by their shared passion for Tango. With hearts full and memories cherished, participants bid farewell to each other, knowing that the bonds forged during the retreat will endure long after the music stops playing.
